Due to the ongoing closure of the B4234 at Lydbrook the reinstated school only service 922 from Ruardean to Five Acres School will need to divert from its usual route :-

The service 922 to Five Acres School will turn right instead of left when it reaches the B4234 in Lydbrook at the bottom of Church Hill. It will then proceed to the end of the road by the river at Lower Lydbrook where it will use the junction to turn around to go back up the hill. On the way back up the hill it will then turn right at the acute junction into Hangerberry New Road. At the end of this road it will turn right onto the A4136 to resume the normal route towards Coleford.

The service 22 to Ruardean will turn left from the A4136 into Hangerberry New Road before it reaches Worrall Hill. At the end of this road it will turn left towards Lower Lydbrook (because it can’t turn right). When it reaches the end of the road by the river at Lower Lydbrook it will use the junction to turn around to go back up the hill. It will then resume the normal route by turning left into Church Hill towards Joy’s Green and Ruardean.

Unfortunately this service will not be able to pick up from bus stops in the closed section of the B4234 or on the A4136 at Worrall Hill.
