Year 7 & 8 students at their Brilliant Club graduation. The students have been working with PhD tutors from the University of Bristol and the University of Worcester. On Friday they visited the University of Bath and got to experience what it is like to be an undergraduate student and celebrate their successful completion of the Scholars Programme. Congratulations all involved!
Following the success of last year's production, we are pleased to announce that Five Acres High School will once again be participating in the Shakespeare Schools Festival. This brilliant opportunity allows pupils in next year's Year 9 and 10 to engage in Shakespeare like never before. They'll take part in a workshop led by industry professionals and perform on stage in a professional theatre. This year, we are performing 'Macbeth' at the Riverfront Theatre, Newport. This opportunity is free for our pupils to take part in. For more information, please speak to Mr Thomas. Auditions to be held on Thursday 5th September. Mr J Thomas English and Drama Teacher
The Five Acres High School Prom was a huge success this year with students arriving in all forms of transport. The Prom was held at the Speech House Hotel and, as always, was overwhelmingly supported by parents, grandparents and other members of our close community. A huge thank you to Mrs Brace, as always, for taking such great photos. You all look fantastic!
