Five Acres High School

Stagecoach Timing Changes

Please be aware that changes have been made to two Stagecoach bus services (No 23 and No 31) to Five Acres High School from the start of the new academic year.

No 23 service

Students catching the 23 from Lydney, Milkwall and Sling can continue to catch the 23, but the times are now approximately 17 minutes earlier.

Students who were catching the bus at Marsh Way, Sling will now need to walk around the corner (1min) to the stop opposite The Club in Sling.

The No 23 service will travel up Forest Road from Lydney to Whitecroft and through Bream, meaning students catching the bus in Lydney will now need to board at the Forest Parade bus stop, not The Orchards stop at the bottom of New Road.

When the 23 gets to Coleford it will wait at The Angle for five minutes, so students should stay on the bus. The route number will change to the service 22 (Gloucester bound) before departing and continuing to Five Acres High School, arriving at 08:05.

In the afternoons the service will depart Five Acres High School at 15:15 as the 22 service (Coleford bound) , go into Coleford to The Angle for five minutes, then change numbers to the 23 to take students back to Milkwall, Sling and Lydney.

No 31 service

Students who used to catch the 31 from Joys Green, Upper Lydbrook and Worrall Hill, will now catch the new 22 service that comes from Gloucester.  The bus will run approximately 11 minutes earlier and arrive at school at 08:15.

In the mornings the bus will be the Coleford-bound 22.

Students will catch the Gloucester-bound 22 in the afternoons and will depart from at 15:10.
